Yes, CFI www.cfidrive.com looks at criminal records on a case by case basis. Good company with their own cdl school.
Millis Transfer - has their own cdl school and hires felons on a case by case basis. Fancy trucks set up for driver comfort.
*Best to do the online application, then call in a couple of days and say, "I'm checking on my job application."

 

If you attend a private cdl school, submit applications the first day of school. Some students even submit applications a few days before school starts. This way you will know which companies will hire you when you get job offers.

You won't be able to go to Canada with a misdemeanor for 10 years. If you have a felony, you won't ever be able to go there. Outfits that go to Canada will want to know your criminal history.

 

Man....news to me. Misdemeanor from USA, can't go into Canada for 10 yrs and Felony equals permanent ban. This Stinks. The Law has gotten very heavy handed.
