    The TA in Ontario California.

Go there. Make some popcorn. Open the curtains and you get to watch Live HBO out your windshield. Personally I like the Hooker Olympics. This is where they run 100 yards under trailers in high heels and mini-skirts while the Deputies chase them in the Crown Vics.

Or, if you prefer the time before TV ... turn of your CB, snuggle up close to your speaker and hear the 24 hour Radio Show we like to call, "You wanna buy something or wha?"

Like Video Games ?.... step out of te truck and walk to the Store at 4 am. It's a combination of Call of Duty, Frogger and Alien Invaders. It's a First Person Adventure game that provokes all of your senses. Fresh urine wafting in the moonlit air, shadowy figures moving in the dark and the creepy feeling that someone is standing very close to you but you cannot see them.

That place isn't in Rapper Music for being a House of Worship ....

What if you're dead....Do they grade on a curve?

    The hell you say!:biggrin_25520:

You may be able to BS the newbies....But the rest of us recognize BS when we see it.

So, After the collision the driver shifts into neutral and shuts the engine off and that means he was out of control?

It smells like number two to me!

I've read a lot of posts by you....Forgive me if I have my doubts about that statement.

I've met quite a few "teachers" in my life that had no idea what they were talking about most of the time....They had all of those certifications too!

Look at the idiots that come out of the public education system these days!
For that matter...Look at the idiots that come out of truck driving schools these days!

    Those who can't do...Teach!

So....Am I supposed to believe that a truck going really fast is harder to stop than a truck going really slow!:biggrin_2556: Say it aint so!

The point is to not crash!

Many of us know how to "not crash" It seems to me that you guys expect that your "students" will crash at some point so besides teaching them how to "pass a test" which is essentially all you do, You just try to prepare them to lessen the severity of the inevitable crash.

Uhhh....No, They're driving a truck down the highway. The fact that you so desperately cling to this misinformation that you teach unsuspecting students tells a lot about you!

They'll never be reading mine....Some of us seem to be able to get it done without crashing.

You've apparently been teaching these people that don't know anything about this business and will therefore "swallow" whatever you feed them for so long that you now think that everyone's that gullible!

    That is not the case....!

I would like to make a formal apology for making a joke about fellow Traffic Control Flaggers I made earlier.

My apologies if it offended anyone. It was simply ment as a joke Traffic Controlmen tell each other as a reminder that being hit by a vehicle can cause bodily harm.

My apologies if it offended anyone.

Truckers are people with very few opinions.
