About to finalize my first ever order on a W900L, my name has been called for production and it’s going to be 9 months early than anticipated.
Are there any obscure or common but overlooked specs or options from Kenworth/Paccar that some don’t know of?

What did you spec?
What will you be doing with it? -
Ps. My new trucks were bumped up as well.
People are pulling out of their orders, predicting an economic crash.JolliRoger, bzinger, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
W900L
565/1850 Performance series cummins, 18 speed, 3.36 rears with 22.5 LP tires (cruise around 67-70 mph), 86 Studio sleeper with VIT interior, 280 wheel base, pre plumbed for APU from factory, dual plumbing for electrical and air (behind sleeper and end of frame), might spec KW slotted wheels, davco fuel filter, 110 & 150 gallon tanks with a 21ish gallon def tank, pre wired for air breather, sleeper, and mirror frame lights. I specced marker lights for top of the sleeper but I’m debating on taking those off. That’s about it really.CorsairFanboy, JolliRoger, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Unless something crazy happens by the time the truck gets here, I’ll very likely go through with the order. I’m sure reefer work in the PNW won’t go away with trailer shortages and endless hunger. lolOxbow and Pamela1990 Thank this. -
Sounds like a nice truck. Sadly I am of little help though, pulling van or reefer is something I have never done.
About the only thing I can say is that many people seem to be going for fuel mileage, so get something more aerodynamic. Although I personally would take a 900 over an aerodynamic truck on looks.
I ordered T800s.
And mine were supposed to arrive about August 2022, and now are scheduled for June 2022.JolliRoger, Oxbow and OhNoTerry Thank this. -
T800’s are #### good as well, I know all my uncles who drive in BC tend to strictly drive those for their dump truck work.Oxbow and Pamela1990 Thank this. -
The sleeper gap will hurt your mpg’s more than the long hood will. I give up quite a bit just being 265” on my 579.
Oxbow, Pamela1990 and OhNoTerry Thank this. -
Stripper pole?
I don't recall seeing a stripper pole.
Although, for a nice ride like that, I'm thinking it's standard.JolliRoger, Oxbow, Pamela1990 and 1 other person Thank this. -
