Yeah, but in your extreme situation from everything you said there’s no way the driver could’ve possibly known there was anything wrong with it until it happened. usually that type of situation that’s how it is you don’t know there’s anything wrong until it happens because it’s the inside of the vehicle you cannot visually see that

Calling someone careless who drives for 2 days with no plug on their hubcap isn’t an insult, it’s simply stating a fact.

Fact? Go look up what a fact is. Because first of all it may not have been two days because if it was two days with the amount of miles I do I’d be dead right now, so it probably fell off sometime yesterday that’s why I noticed it this morning and not two days ago smart ###

Dude. You just can’t stop, even after being warned. You are not going to win so just be an adult and stop the insults.

You should be able to feel, hear, or smell something of that nature from the truck. Stuff doesn't just fail out of the blue. There's usually clues if a person will pay attention. That's why some people are just steering wheel holders. Totally obvious.

Ok, a few pages later and you’re changing your story. I was going from this, which is what you posted to start the thread. You stated you’ve been driving like that for the past 2 days. Those were your words. And if your words are true then that is in fact careless, which is what he called you. You have no way of knowing what has gotten in your hub as far as debris goes, so like others said, topping the oil off and driving probably isn’t such a good idea either. And later on you said you do your pretrips and if that true you’d know for sure if it was 2 days ago or yesterday or sometime during the current day.

Only an experienced driver MAY notice those signs. A new person is not. Simply don’t know what to look for or “smell”
