Mobile Hotspot/Internet On-The-Go

Good to hear. I haven't been to Wyoming in months but there was literally no coverage outside of Cheyenne. T-Mobile really does try and improve though, I've seen thar first hand all over the country.

 

Check out the ATT Mobley device. It connects and provides unlimited data for $30 per month. Available with or without 2 year contract.

 

Is it still possible to get the unlimited plan for $30? When the unlimited plan came out, it was only $20 and there was a huge demand for the mobley. I was looking into that plan a couple months ago and all the mobleys were sold out, but they're back now.

It's easy to wire it to run anywhere. Some are saying they got rid of the deal due to overwhelming demand. I'll try calling customer service.

 

I was with TMobile a while back, I got away because of the terrible coverage. I then decided to get a hotspot modem when they had the unlimited "binge" program, I got unlimited netflix/spotify for like 30 bucks a month. I got rid of that after a while, didn't use it enough to justify it, but i did notice that in the short time that I had been away from them they had really improved coverage. Probably not enough to justify getting away from Verizon completely, but they've really made great strides.

 

I have a cricket pro phone plan that is grandfathered in from when they bought aiowireless. I have 20 gigs data for $55/mth that is allowed to be tethered. I've had the plan for about 4 years now, so back then it was a awesome deal.

I've traveled all over the country prior to me getti g my cdl and using that plan as my main internet connection.. I've had very little issues doing that, but I can't watch much Netflix on just 20 gigs.. Normally I do videos on wifi.

As far as Mobley, I dont think ATT still offers it.

Yup. I was going to keep it since I was grandfathered in the plan when they went to unlimited everything plans, which were nice but cost a lot more. But I had some billing issues, that resulted in late fees, on bills that were supposed to be paid under an auto pay. I eventually told them to f off and cancelled them.

 

We opted out of the everything plan, but they forced it on us.
It is a 'trial' for a year or two, but we have it at no extra cost for the time being. If we decide not to take it the plan goes back to normal with 10GB per phone.
(But it does not apply to my mobile broadband, only the phones. With those lines I am still at 5GB each.)

 

I was just going to say T-Mobile is no good in Montana and Wyoming. Right where I run. And Verizon is very spotty in the same areas.
