I'd take the k200 over a freight liner century any day. Gotta work with what you get or what you can afford and maintain.

Well, I may not be a trucker, yet, but I can chime in with my experience in an '08 Mitsubishi Fuso(Small COE, a light duty tow truck) VS a '10 Dodge 5500.

Manueverability obviously goes to the Fuso. Turns on a dime and fits in the tightest of spots.

Comfort goes to the Dodge, I mean come on... Im sitting on the front wheels in the Fuso.

Load capacity also goes to the dodge. The Dodge has an engine in front of the steers, so theres more weight on the front, whereas in the Fuso the engine is actually more behind the wheels than in front. This is a huge factor in this business.

Maintenance and repairs would have to go to the Fuso. Just tilt the cab and you have easy accoess to the entire engine and transmission. Easy oil/fuel filter changes, specially if you aren't petite.

I prefer the Fuso, it's my baby. I also love the looks of passengers when I pull into a spot and the building is inches in front of our faces... haha.

This is coming from a fleet that consists largely of COE's.
    2 Mitsubish Fusos(1 '08 light duty and 1 '09 medium duty)
    2 Hino's(1 '02 FA and 1 '02 FB both light duty)
1 International(Eagle? COE. Short frame, used mainly to haul mobile homes and scrap cars)

It was more than likely a regional intermodal tractor. 2011 freightliner cascadia. Short hood with a 48" sleeper. They have the dd13 engine. Our drivers that have them seem to be happy. They say they pull better than the old trucks (1-2 gears higher), but they still are pumpkins lol. They have fixed passenger seats, duel 80 gallon tanks. Ill try to post a pic tomorrow.

    zebcohobo Thanks this.

Sorry it took so long. My phone was being difficult and I had to get to a desk top. They're set up decently. 6" sliding fith wheel, air dump and raise suspension, air release fith wheel, DD13 engine. SNI says its rated at 455 hp, some drivers say 475.

Snapped some pics of two Argosies sitting in the Troutdale Swift yard a couple weeks ago. But, Android is not recognized by the TTR server, so I can't post them.
