A good SWR doesn't mean you are getting max performance out of the antenna. Most of that antenna is blocked by the cab and partly by the trailer. So you will not receive or xmit as good as you would if your antenna was out in the clear. Now with it's own dedicated coax and a good antenna it should work a whole bunch better than the current practice of CB/fm/wx/tv all in one antennas and coax. If you have a top-loaded antenna that clears the roof it will work better. They mounted the antennas on the back of the new Cascadia too. The antenna is only a few inches above the roof line! I haven't checked any of them yet to know what kind of swr they have. I don't think they did for performance, I think they did it because the automatic truck washes tear the ones on the side of the sleeper off pretty regularly.

I am gonna jump in here with some rookie advice.
I just got a 2015 Cascadia last week & I just installed my CB yesterday cause I had heard unsettling stories about the factory CB antenna thingy built in the cab. Reluctantly, I decided to go ahead & try it yesterday. I have to admit that my CB hasn't talked or received this well .... constantly... in a long time. I am guessing that the stories I have read & heard are from the 13's & 14's. I have to say, I am very happy .... so far, with the way mine (this 2015) is talking & receiving. I can hear & talk to people without seeing them now.Seriously, It's doing well. I am surprised at its performance. I finally feel like I have my Galaxy back.

I have galaxy too. Remounted mine onto mirror today. Havent tried it out yet being im on hometime. But with it behind cab it wasnt getting outvor recieving very well. I do know that I will have to get swr reset

And, as I understand, the CB & TV antenna's are built into the roof of the cab. I dont know. Beats me how they do it but, I swear, there are no visible antenna's at all on this truck.
As for installing the CB, the truck has these little pockets like for your sunglasses etc, in the overhead in the driver/passenger area. You remove 4 screws & the pocket comes out. Behind there is a coax cable & a power wire & a ground wire. There is also a special bracket for the CB. It fits my Galaxy 33 (but I have to stretch it a bit). Its in there because the pocket/compartment isnt deep enough to use a standard bracket for the CB, it needs to extend out of the compartment a little.
So, I hooked up the power wires & the coax to the CB, used the mounting bracket supplied with the truck & turned it on. No antenna to install etc. Just hook up the power, ground & coax. I'll admit, I haven't had the swr's checked but I can say that it is talking & receiving as good as it ever has.... & much better than it has with the last couple of times I've bought & installed antennas & had it tested & checked by the CB shop.
Again, I had my doubts but I can honestly say, whatever they did, I'm happy with it. They messed up & got it right. I have no doubt that they will improve it down the way & get it out of whack, but currently, mine is working well.
So, currently, I could post a pic of the truck but there are no visible antennas to post pics of -

My 14 Cascadia has that same internal antenna set up and my rx/tx is crap and swrs are high, over 3 on 40 and close to 3 on 1 so I took my radio off of that setup and ran a mirror mount but while my swrs did drop to around 2.1 it still wasnt optimal. Now Im getting ready to buy a new radio so Im gonna br looking for ways to trim that swr down.
