Kewl thanks for the info D1... However I am looking forward to seeing the country side... So that wouldn't be a big deal... Although from what I am reading I am not looking forward to NY... but gotta do what ya gotta do... lol

Is NY worse than Cali, I have driven through Sacramento in rushhour.... I haven't been to LA since I was a kid but I know the traffic gets hectic down there really bad.... And the bay area gets pretty rough but nothing I can't handle... So for those that have ran both which is worse?

Its not that driving in New York is much worse than L A its that Chicago and New York are very old cities at least the areas you will deliver and the docks are impossible to get into... Believe it or not Austin Texas has the worst traffic in my opinion..

You are right.. not a bunch of negative on this thread, especially from people who are actively in the mix doin the dam thing.

Make sure you pack at least one pair of shorts, swim trunks, and a pair of sandals. It's a lil chilly there now but it change quickly.:biggrin_255:

I'm from Stockton and I'm in the second week of the 10 day in Missoula right now. I'll let ya know how it goes. I've heard that there are terminals that we drop at with dedicated drivers that take loads into NYC.

Yeah keep me posted and let me know how things are going. It doesn't look like my alternate means of funding are going to work out so I will have to wait for WIA process I guess... its nice that its free money. I guess thats one way to look at it.

I think they might have been talking about the NJ terminal, I had a drop in Brooklyn, NY but they had me bring it to NJ and a local driver delivered it. They have little pup trailers an straight trucks at that terminal too...
