IMG_3133.JPG They must be FULL MOONS. I run discs on my old K1 but they would not fasten to that rim.
There is a massive hubcap warehouse in Buffalo Mn that may carry them, largest hubcap supplier in North America

Over here on the left coast, Southern California, LA area, the full wheel covers were referred to as "Moon Disks". They were popularized by the Salt Flat crowd looking for better aerodynamics.

Quarter mile drag racers and street racers also began sporting the full wheel moon disks, but functionality took a back seat to aesthetics especially for the street rod folks. Moons just weren't as cool as baskets (wire wheels), chrome reversed wheels or spoked mags.

The smaller hub caps were called "Baby Moons", and were often used with chrome glamour rings installed around the inside of the outer part of the wheel/rim, --- a factory accessory on autos available and popular in the 1940's.

There were 2 types,.. Moons and Baby Moons. Was and still is very popular on cars like 49 Merc, 50 Chevy, 55 Ford, pretty much any 48 - early 60's pickups. Wish I had some pics I could post from a couple cars I had with them.
