Agreed , something is better than nothing, but it isn't always enough. And you are right on target, about some people cannot be happy when they know a person is happy. ( not talking about here) But they are out there, and they need to be stopped. They can ruin family's, Organization's, etc. and not even be suspected.
Like the troll who spoils a thread, but in his real life nobody would suspect him of doing that. Only that is probably the least bad thing he does.
