    1. Did the mid '80's 359's come with a privacy curtain for the windshield and windows? My KW has some real nice heavy vinyl ones that you hang (as opposed to sliding on a track) and they are pretty good insulators.

    2. in the center of the corvette dash there are 4 round idiot lights in the shape of a diamond. The light at 12 oclock is the "low air" indicator. What are the other 3?

Hi rank, I don't remember any privacy curtain for the windshield, and for the idiot lights, 12 o' clock, air, 3 o'clock, water, 6 o'clock, diff. lock, and 9 o'clock, oil. My all time favorite truck!!!!

Hi wore out, HA, Oh no. This changes everything. There is 1 more under those, but I'm not sure what that 1 is. I think the extra 1 was where people put their "lucky penny". I had a '72 small window( different dash) and a '85 round dash.

i always liked a flat dash in my peterbilts, along with small windows. 1971 was the last year for small windows, some guys claim 72 was but they were really leftover 71s titled as a 72. be safe out there

That is a real Pete for sure. That fifth light on my truck comes on when the park brake is set. I just figured that's how it came but don't know.

Hi rank, what year is your Pete? These are getting pretty hard to find nowadays. If I drove again, I'd love to drive a 359. I had a '85 359 day cab with round dash that I was going to make a motorhome out of. I saw a guy in Fla. (from Mauston, Wis.) that put a small camper on the back, and it looked really cool. Lost interest, among other things, and sold it to a local towing outfit a few years back. Keep the old iron rolling, when trucks were trucks!!!!!
