Don't tell them anything. Let them come to their own conclusions. The company will front you the machine and take it out of your pay if it's that important to them.
You don't have to tell these companies EVERYTHING!UKwildcatfan Thanks this. -
That's the chance you'll have to take. You could just not say anything and hope they don't test for abnea. But I think more and more companies do.
-
Any local company won't test for it. Shoot, go throw cases of beer or soda for 6 months. Sleep apnea won't be an issue after that. Trust me. Lol. He'll be beating the woman off with a stick with all the weight he'd loseBean Jr., pattyj and UKwildcatfan Thank this.

could i still get a dot medical card tho?
-
You get a DOT medical card for any class A or B job. It's not a DOT requirement to test for sleep apnea
-
what i am saying is, if i tell the examiner i don't have it, could i get in trouble since i have been diagnosed?
-
The examiner doesn't ask. Tell them you sleep fine and don't snore. This really isn't that complicated
-
dude, put as much effort into getting road ready as you put into that keyboard. you should be honest if they ask if you have been tested. otherwise, dont ask dont tell. how many recruiters have you talked to? three types of people.......1.those who wish things would happen, 2. those that make things happen, 3.those that wonder what happened. sleep apnea may be a pain to deal with, but deal with it. quit whining by doing something about it. you only fail by not trying.Boattlebot Thanks this.

The machines are cheap. I've bought them for $125, refurbished. They are not the newer type but have the card and record the usage.
cnsper Thanks this.
