More foreigners on the road

The minute anyone speaks up (especially if they're White) they're labeled racist. It seems most people would rather cut an arm off with a rusty buttet knife before being accused of the evil "R" word. Whether that person is truly a racist or not is irrelevant.

I got in trouble with a mod here (he's no longer a mod) for simply stating we needed to round up illegals and toss them out. We've done this before in the 50's and we desperately need to do it again.

We do not have the resources to support a practical invasion and the burden thus far is reaching its breaking point.

The main culprits making this all possible are the politicians (both parties) and the corporations who fund it. However, the real cause is because Americans have been conditioned to not do anything about it and to allow it to continue.

 

You would think so, but it does not work that way. When an immigrant comes to US, he rents an apartment where other immigrants from his country live. He gets a job with other workers from his own country and he goes to grocery stores where cashiers speak his language. He really does not need to learn English.
Some of them try taking English classes in the evening after work, but rarely last long, because they usually end up working too many hours and just don't have time.

Their kids however, become completely Americanized as soon as they go to kindergarten or school. They won't even speak their native language anymore, only English, unless parents force them.

To sum it up. If you immigrate and there are too many of your own kind in that place already, the life will be forcing you to stay where you are. You will not learn well the new country's language and mentality. You will simply gonna be doing what you are used to do, just in a bit different environment.

 

Youre missing what I said, those areas its perfectly possible those arent even immigrants, there are areas *within* the united states that spanish has been the primary language.

For that matter, i find spanish to be easier to understand than many insular south eastern communities, and they nominally speak "english"

 

Their kids assimilated but there was a time when people came here with the utmost best intentions and wanted to be Americans. Many even changed their last names to fit in even better. There was a time when that was the norm.

My Puerto Rican ex didn't know a lick of Spanish because her parents intentionally didn't teach it to their children because they found it disrespectful to Americans.

Her father served in the Air Force then left to teach Accounting at the local community college. Her parents were good people.

My father's side is all German. They never taught us anything about our heritage nor the language. My Irish mother's side did the same. We know our tree and where we all come back in Europe but that's about it. My great great grandparents assimilated.

It is no longer the case generally that people come here to be Americans. They could care less about helping a country grow and give their kids better lives.

Now, it's nothing but a free for all. It's all about the gibs! Gimme, gimme gimme what you got.

No, im directly responding specifically to what you were talking about, people in the southwest that look at you like youre crazy for not speaking spanish.

You are assuming they dont speak english because theyre in the us, im pointing out that in certain pockets thats not necessarily the case.

Should i assume the 14 year old kid in pa that loaded me at the amish lumber mill is german because he only spoke an archaic and wierd version on german?

No there is NO official language of the united states, same as theres NO official religion etc etc.

Be grumpy about that all you want, complain that the people and their ancestors that have lived there for 3-400 years dont speak english, but i was pointing at exactly that, it is fully possible in the location you mentioned (insular parts of the southwest) that they simply dont need english in their community.

They may all be illegal aliems in the past 2 months but thats not something youre actually in a position to judge unless youre literal next door neighbors

 

If anyone thinks these 3rd world visitors have one ounce of respect for this country, go to ANY Amazon facility and look at all the trash, and piss bottles outside and what they do to the sinks inside. Oh, and don't tell me, "Americans do it too" We all know where 97% of the Amazon O/O's come from.
