At some point during the early days of the Gulf oil spill one of the libtards on the national news was showing film of tarballs or something in Alaska from the Valdez.

I guess I would be telling a lie about it. There is plenty on it at the Valdez museum and the townspeople.

Saw oil in the water and the beach area when I was there.

    But, what would I know?

You just can't reason with some people. Some of these people on here both far left or right are so wrapped up in politics that they lose site of common sense and are too scared to think for themselves.

Oil is in the ground. Eventually it gets out. Sure we can screw up and help it along some, but eventually an earthquake or something else will get it to the surface or in the water. It is just the way it is.
Yes, man kind has done some things to mess up the surface of the planet. Yes, most likely we will in another couple thousand years make it so the planet will not support most life forms. But guess what? The earth will go on.
It will heal and start life again. Just maybe not our type.
I will not be here, and nothing I can do will change it.
The biggest issue is going to be population. Survival of the fittest is gone for humans. We are going to over populate the planet in a couple hundred years at our current rates.
Eventually we will not be able to produce enough food. At that point survival of the fittest will once again rule.

Ok, that was fun. Had my science fiction rant for the month. Will that happen? Maybe. Will we one day cause damage to this planet that will actually effect weather patterns and really do harm to the planet? probably some day.
Have we done it yet? not to any extent that the planet cannot heal itself.

    The eye of the storm....

Since I chase the storms around, and you all know I do... I can honestly say this... I have chased tornados in places that don't normally see them, I have seen fewer, but more severe storms, storm tracks running wrong...

Have we shifted Earth's patterns? I don't know. Patterns seem to be shifting. Are the changes permanent? I don't know that either. Because they are not constant enough...

What caused it? Good question. Patterns shifted before we had the things that enviromentalists are saying did it....

Not to mention, it has been hotter than normal in many places which tends to aggravate the conditions of the storms.

Don't mean to chop your statement up and although I agree with the whole statement, the part I chopped is exactly how I feel.
