Don’t be sorry. This is an opportunity to grow towards becoming the driver that he wanted to be. All of those cattle prods and handholding was stifling.

Get up! Round two starts now. Let’s figure out your next move and go from there. What kind of wagon do you want to pull and what’s your next semi long term goal?

Well, since you were not fired for normal everyday operation, what did you get fired for?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I want to end up doing flat bed or bulk tanker. However because I'm so new I know I'll be stuck with another larger company for at least 7 or 8 more months. Thought about trying for Danny herman or maverick transportation China actually recommended several to me.
I even got a call back from ATS dont know if they'll take me seriously tho.

Intothesunset, D.Tibbitt and Lepton1 Thank this.

Set my pane departure buzzer off (it goes off before you cross the line. So I was still in my lane, but at that moment a car was looking for a payday and crossed the line and #### near tried to go under the trailer. I jerked the wheel to the right to push the nose of the trailer away from him. He swerves back into his lane and speeds off. This triggered G force sensor (I moved maybe 8inches to the right and kept the truck there near the rumble strips till guy was long gone. I was talking at the moment and they called it distracted driving. (No phones involved)
Again set my G force sensor off coming to a green light, I stopped on orange and had to wait a good few moments for it to be red. This is after unloading 90% of the weight I had my Jake on stage 2 and not used to being empty or the new rig my brake psi hit 10 and slowed my truck rather quickly. I'll own up to that ONE
(I drove my other truck for 30k miles and not once did I have a hard braking event)

They also mentioned a collision even tho the camera didnt see me hit anything. I was unhooking from a load that had 44k in the nose tandems almost all the way forward 500lbs from being over on drives and like 800lbs from being over on trailer. The new transmission almost killed the truck, I gave it throttle it downshifts and rocked the truck pretty good because I was on the brakes fast to avoid letting weight just drop on the legs. But i pulled forward dropped suspension and it was free. In that process it triggered extended recording and ####ed up my truck it wouldn't let me put it in gear or etc till I got out and tapped on g force sensor and pushed plug back in.

I know it must suck to be let go but thankfully your out of there before they completely poisoned you on trucking... we have many jerk companies in this industry but also have just as many great ones ..Find one where they trust their men and women and don’t treat everyone like a child who needs constant monitoring

I just hope I can find something quickly. Otherwise I gotta buy a chainsaw till I can fine a company who will hire me. I got bills to pay and someone to take care of.

If that is true, all I can say is wow. You are better off not working for that company. I would never want to work for a company that will fire someone for, in all reality, is normal everyday happenings.
