I'd say that qualifies as an oops moment. What was that driver thinking? Obviously not about what could happen. I am glad they got that poison off the streets though. Kudos to the "man"

Americans spends 100 Billion on illegal drugs a year...

The reason they need to say "huge cartel disruption" is to justify the 40 million they spent on this particular operation...

Don't be so naive people..... true it is better then nothing but if they really wanted to stop it they would stop it from entering America in the first place..

 

In order to stop it from coming in would mean sending the Marines into Columbia and all the other 3rd world nations around the world. I'm all for it but then again I think that war is inenvitable when you have people involved

 

Not necessarily... Securing our borders would be 1st way to stop it from coming in.. That alone would cut over 50% or more from getting in...

 

Sorry to break this, but there is no way to secure every inch of our borders. When you consider that the US/Canada border is 3 times as long as the US/Mexican border, there isn't any way to patrol all the spaces you could bring stuff in. Not to mention both coasts!
We could put the military on it and still not have enough people to cover the job.
Street level enforcement combined with border security, drug education and treatment programs are the only way to even start to make a dent in the problem, and even then it's never going to go away.

 

no way to stop it from coming in, until you stop the demand. All we are doing is a feel good effort to fight the so called war on drugs. Why stop the flow? We want dumb sheepole so the overnment can do what it wants without any back lash.
