Seems Jen runs under Roy's MC, at least according to the signage on her truck.
The only 'real' trucker on the show is Marc.
He used to sell Harley's until the dealer laid him off....then he got into trucking and is actually
rather successful. He runs into Canada a lot and there is decent paying freight up that way.
More USHIP great info

You do not need a CDL to pull over 26,000. Just a chauffeurs license unles your vehicle has air brakes. At least that's the way it was when I was driving a wrecker.

Classes of License:
The Federal standard requires States to issue a CDL to drivers according to the following license classifications:
Class A -- Any combination of vehicles with a GCWR of 26,001 or more pounds provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Class B -- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds GVWR.
Class C -- Any single vehicle, or combination of vehicles, that does not meet the definition of Class A or Class B, but is either designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver, or is transporting material that has been designated as hazardous under 49 U.S.C. 5103 and is required to be placarded under subpart F of 49 CFR Part 172 or is transporting any quantity of a material listed as a select agent or toxin in 42 CFR Part 73.

We dont call Werner, JB Hunt, Swift, etc etc a shipper; they are carriers!!! It irks the hell out of me when people and themselves refer to them as "shippers" -

I think everybody on that show is a joke. Even Marc is a loss for trucking "I can clear $1.50 mile on this run, that's good money" .... Come on.
The only one worth watching is the Robbie chick and she fell for the Jersey Shore tool like most girls. And how many trucks does this guy own??? I've seen them in over 6 different trucks on the show, and there's even more online. And all have about $15k worth of rims and custom suspensions!!! -
It just irritates me that much lol -
By the way a CDL is required to tow a trailer over 10000 lbs.
It is another "reality" show like gold rush. The formula is one successful, two or three marginal, and one joke operation. The shows are just entertainment for the sheep that watch tv
