You bring a mix that I can relate to from my p@d and linehaul days .

 

The late 90s at kraft foodservice and omaha bakers supply..peddle .
Linehaul at Clark Brothers Inc Norfork neb...bought up by saia .

 

Iong story but I was actually outside power at Clark bros....had a dedicated turn , home weekends and good cash .
When saia bought clark we were out the door almost overnight .
...was good while it lasted and still have ex clark bros. Driver friends .

 

With that conversation started I would never ever go back into the purchase power business again .
Was treated well at clark bros. Depending on the terminal.
Did some work for con way in my h@m days .
Did lots of work for Estes and vitran ..Lakeville moter express in my cornhusker moter lines days .
Other than clark bros. Most treated me like excretment .

 

Lifes pretty mundane around Morehouse these days , I pick up and deliver at the same places over and over and over.
The 1st of our new freightliners have come in and are dd15 detriot powered .
Other than that .....the shop has settled down into a normal routine since the departure of our shop formen , with a good crew ! .
That's about all I know .

 

My truck was the last of the manuels at Morehouse....saw some karma in Cleveland today ...more on that tonight.
