I wasn't trying to knock Memphis. I love it there. 4 years and I've never had any trouble. Other than my wife in an accident. Hit and run. Car was totalled. We had great insurance. No big deal. On we move. Thankfully she wasn't injured.NavigatorWife, Dave_in_AZ and x1Heavy Thank this.

Im glad no one got hurt. It's always a joy no matter where.
Memphis brings out the warrior in me and I don't like what I have to become in order to keep the predators at bay.
It takes me a few days alone at home when I get time off to decompress from places like Memphis before Im safe and civil to my family.Dave_in_AZ and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
How did no NY or Jersey cities not make this list?
-
NYC cleaned up a little bit. The threat level dropped some believe it or not over the last 30 some years. Now mind you careful, there is still predators up there. But it's not the existential threat it was when I first started. To learn trucking and then constantly go into Jersey City and NYC and learn how the Predators work... it damaged me. I just don't know it until much later in life.

And the ones that can't afford Tucson, come here. Or the ones to senile to realize that even though we are desert here, the winters can be much worse than they expected.
I dunno, seems to me like "Sheriff Joe" isn't making much headway on crime down there.
When did they put in the concealed carry without permit there? You've always been able to carry openly there, but needed a permit for concealed.
I'm guessing whoever made this"study" never got east of the Mississippi...(probably afraid to...)

About 5 or 6 years ago. When I saw on the news it went into affect, I went down to the Glendale PD main desk, and asked, and confirmed it. I didn't want to go down for carrying one concealed and not be legal lol.

Right on. They required the permit when we lived at the canyon, but they honored the Utah permit, so I never bothered to get one. This was back before the law went into effect that any retired officer could be issued a permit that was good nation wide, by the sheriff's office, in his county of residence. Just have to qualify yearly to keep it up. Of course, if Clinton gets in, this to, may change....NavigatorWife Thanks this.

I can't believe Columbus, Ohio isn't on the list of aggressive drivers, that city has some of the most dangerous 4 wheeler's driving around I've ever seen.
NavigatorWife and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
