Derates are not good for getting things done. I'm not sure what even happened, but 3 times at the dealer to finally get something fixed, and one thing, suspected weak DEF, which turned out false, so I expect something else other than sensors, was changed, too, as it was turned up just a bit.

It probably wasn't turned up, just whatever sensor wasn't quite bad, just weak, now it's just running like it's supposed too.

No, it was governed from day 1 right at 71.5 mph, 460k later it will do almost 3 more just when they are going to put me in a different one, I drove a bunch for service, with gps to verify speedometer, some were slower yet, some would do more. I don't run at the governor most of the time, but I do check them.

RPM at governed speed on the tach increased a bit, too. Not quite 100 RPM. The one I drove while that one was down was a 2014, just a touch more yet, and those all have had Isri seating, less fatiguing driving them, as well.

Especially when those pesky microbes are involved. One more problem we didn't have to worry about 20 years ago
