I've only seen one mention of US 119 out of Pineville.

I know those switchbacks and grades get pretty hairy in a Jeep (dropping to dang near 45mph on some climbs), and I've seen those trucks pulling pretty wide at almost 5mph to catch the turns. Not to mention the eminant drops off the road next to you.

I hear ya man..I took that a couple years ago to save(?) time. :biggrin_2559: Not likely I will take that way again. But with regards to the theme of this thread,I find any route dangerous which has 4-wheelers on it.

US 60 in WV, between SR16/ Gauley Bridge and US 19/Hico. It's also called the Midland Trail. The road basically runs up and down the side of the mountain, has lots of nice twisty turn, upgrades, downgrades and plenty of log trucks on it. Fun times when loaded with 45k of wood pellets.

Are you referring to the 250 between Moundsville and Cameron, or further on than that? I've been on the stretch between those two points and it's no fun at all, get off on some of those side roads out there and you can definately be in for some butt puckering rides. Number 2 Ridge Road off of the Dallas Pike before you get to the village of Beham in PA is down right nasty in my opinion.

Ya, WV amazes me sometimes. 55 mph zones on a little back woods 2 lane road that I don't feel safe doing 35 on in my big truck. Course, I was haulin 2 big reels of wire on a step deck at the time too, so had to be a little extra cautious, but geez.

Between Moundsville and Fairmont. About 60 70 miles took about 3 hours
