Lewiston and Twin Falls, no other way to do that.
It was a wild job. Once I loaded a 6 stop out of Eugene grossing 82k. First stop I put off 3k in Mountain Home and I was legal. Last drop in FL.
Only catch was running 126 to 20 all the way across. Run all night before Burns opens.
Then I dropped down out of Caldwell to 78 to miss the big scales. Didn't know about that station down there. I freaked out, but they just waved me on. -
Incline Village was the same deal. We didn't go in from Oct through Mar.
This place was 1000 ft above I-80 and I had to cimb empty and come out loaded. Had to chain up just to get in the upper level of the parking lot. -

Then straight up this hill from hell. I remember it was about an hour before dark and it was starting to get that shiny glaze and I was praying I wouldn't break traction. It snowed that night and I just stayed up there.
Been a few years now, but does Coyote Creek sound right? Maybe not. -
I didn't see it on the first page, so I'm assuming it hasn't been mentioned on the others.
Danger aside...Mont Eagle in TN has been labeled as the deadliest for truckers. More truckers have died on that grade than any other in the US. The majority of those being log truck drivers.
On the bright side...it's better now since the interstate was built.
Historically speaking, even Highway 41 is relatively new. -
You run the Dragon on bike, at night. That way you can see the lights of traffic approaching the curves.
Unless of course, you're really just sight seeing. Which 95% of bikers that take that route, do so for the thrill.
