    Once the computer recognizes it, then start CP Central. Then create a login. Then click "Maps / Get New Maps / North America / Download" and wait for it to DL and transfer. Turn the GPS off when it is done FIRST and then unplug it from the computer. You're done.

    the computer recognizes it. central recognizes it. central checks for updates. but central says no updates. the little satellite stays red so i know it's not downloading.

    left things on all night. and nothing. still at the same version.
