That would be pretty cool. I dont think I would answer them all truthfully because I dont want to hear #### from the self righteous ones who like to stand high and mighty on their pedestals. But I definitely have some stories I could tell.

I was thinking the same thing. #5 doesn't apply but the rest I had better keep quiet about.
PeteyFixAll, Hurst, Mudguppy and 2 others Thank this. -
The load of store fixtures I took from Omaha to NYC , when I got there they wouldn't unload them cause I didn't have a union card .
Went to motel in Jersey and sat on the detension clock for 2 days , on day 3 dispatch said bring em back to Omaha and drop the trailer at the plant .
2 weeks later picked up same trailer and load and delivered it in Jersey .Hurst, x1Heavy and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Picked up sealed trailer with matching paperwork in St Paul MN loaded with empty aluminum cans going to Bennington VT .
Got to Bennington , broke seal opened doors and trailer was empty ...oooppps. -
Thanks for all the input so far! Really interesting stories and experiences of a life time! Keep em coming!

Well let's start with #1.
I must insist that the mods make this an adults only thread.
Best madman. I think to qualify for best madman load needs to have covered 900 miles or better in a 24 hour period, multi day loads included, at least one day
Here are two that stick out in my mind, you guys decide which earns the title, for me.
1) P/U Kennewick, WA Friday 2300 Local - 44K Frozen curly fries. Time of year = Autumn
Deliver to Easton, ME Wednesday 0700 Local ( Reload was in Easton @ 1000 same place )
2) P/U McKinney, TX Thursday 1600 ( 4 stops / 3 need to be accomplished before shut down on Friday afternoon ) 41K Product Very High Value so will remain classified. Time of year = Winter
1st Stop = Hannibal, MO / 2nd Stop = St, Joseph, MO / 3rd Stop = Sioux City, IA by 1700 Friday.
This is my trip meter for #2. I also won $10 from my cousin as he said me & Blackie ( My white Volvo ) would not get the load off.
To some of you this song will make perfect sense, some of you will go what's he talking about.

Most memorable... grossing 210k with a 132' bridge beam and taking it over Homestake pass and losing an intake actuator on the way up. Asked the pilot car to give me a push.
Scariest was a 42k box culvert standing upright on a flatbed. Looked in my right hand mirror and the tires were 6" off the ground. Talk about an oh crap moment. Took two bounces but I got her settled down. I am just thankful that was a spring ride trailer instead of an air ride on that one. The corner on the interstate did not look that sharp but apparently it was for that load.PeteyFixAll, Dave_in_AZ, Dye Guardian and 2 others Thank this.
