every one has their own limits. just because you cant handle a 1000 mi day doesnt mean that some one else cant. when i pulled a waggon around i got tired for sure. but it would amaze you how much 30 minuits of sleep will get ya. vs how much that cup of coffee and an all u can eat buffet at the ta with a big trucker story will.

and b4 you go raggin on someone about how many miles they drive in a.day. you ever haul live animals? you got to go. no if ands or butts. thats why there is few people doing it. not just any one can drive a truck. you have ur steering wheel holders and then u have ur truck drivers. when ya gotta go. you gotta go. but i wouldnt expect some e log freight hauler to understand that.

IT AINT NO EXCUSE FOR RUNNING OVER HOS!!!! they just post a article of a man running over HOS!!! and he killed 3 people that driver had been driving for 20years. i had elog trk and i would hear drivers that's on paper brag about running over hos for a load and for miles. yea i had elog truck they say they were running 3000 easy i averaged 2700-3700 every week with a elog trk. they taught everyone to plan your load out to make sure u get it there on time without running over HOS!!! many can say what u want IT AINT NO EXCUSE FOR RUNNING OVER HOS!!!!! they give you hos for a reason. its been said i don't know what u go thru that make you run over your hours. true im not standing over that person. but i no he/she have planned their trip better than that.

u like beef? when they put the bull haulers on e logs. or if they do. your going to pay alot more for that hamburger. them resting pens arent going to be cheap. and who isbgoing to pay forbthat? both rlthe trucking industry and the consumer.

Seriously? 2700-3000 a week? I had half of that in 36 hours last week. Okay please feel free to tell me how you get a load of feeders from western wyoming to PA legally and I mean 100% legal that's complying with both trucking laws and USDA laws. And without killing the entire load. Google that on milage and trip time. I can drive 11 before a 10 hour break. I have 28 hours before they HAVE to be off the trailer for food water and rest run that legally either way you're breaking one set of laws or the other. And anything over 20 hours is too long on the trailer. Its not like we can just pull over like a freight hauler and go to sleep. Its not like we can pull over at any ranch and let our cattle rest nope it don't work that way. I'd suggest you do a little research before you go ridiculing people. We can debate this all night. Its not going to change the world. You say the HOS rules are in place for q reason. You're right they are. The reason they're in place is for revenue not safety. You will realize that one day.#

Resting pens my ###. We don't have resting pens up here and probably won't ever have them. Only one I know of withing 500 miles of me is down by the washout in elreno and idk if those are even open after the tornado. Think the washout is finally open again but nope up here you got 2 choices redo your log and keep going, or start calling feedlots, or local farmers and pray you get lucky. And then you're going to pay an arm leg and left nut. I'll redo my log and call it good. When they slap e logs on us is the day my truck becomes a yard orniment.

Right about 700 miles on a Sunday from the mid-west going west on I-70 in a SWIFT truck govern at 62. took about 14 hours with a few stops in between. My dad was dying and I wanted to get home. I would average about 450 to 485 per day under normal condition. All paper logs, never used e-logs.

Last I checked the HOS was 4 u 2 not just new drivers. I don't have 2 research I see pple pulling live freight all the time and they would be on break. and I see y'all trying 2 run everybody off road 2. Yea u can debate all nite but u can also see drivers running over hours being in news 4 killing people u laugh at my miles but I was getting more miles than the ones I hear bragging. Plus the ones that would complain about not getting miles. I'm sorry but I have family out there and I wouldn't want them 2 b ran over by a truck drivers trying 2 just get miles

thats what i mean.. i think u mis understood me . i was stating that i u had to use resting pens. how much the price of bewf would go up. i use to work for m&m cattle co out of amarillo. i hauled feeders to. i was trying to explain to this " no excusess guy". that if u had to use em. you couldnt afford a hamburger. i mean you would be stacking another $400.00+ just to use the pens.

Legally in a 65 mph truck was 697 miles, I never stopped, never hit any traffic, it was a perfect run, from rinky diinky truck stop somewhere on I-59 in Alabama to the Petro in Beaumont, TX. Stopped with 3 minutes left on the clock. Took the longest piss in man's history.
