Is it the TS fault they cant staff to suit the degenerates
    that call themselves professionals?
I see some of the "worst" from the least likeliest out here
so all you pre'madonna's need to keep the "self-check" engaged at all times.

Cleaning up in a high volume/traffic facility is no easy task
People do not stand in line to clean a crapper and other assorted acts of mayhem
    for minimum wage.

Agreed, 100%. If you want a clean toilet, go to a retail store somewhere, not a truckstop. If you want the spa treatment in a shower, rent a hotel room.

I'm a clean freak, BUT I can understand and accept the fact that a truckstop is hard to maintain.

It is sad the shape of these T/S's these days, but like a few of the other replies I agree it has a lot to do with scuzzy drivers. The other day I walked into a T/A in Texas and saw an Indian driver washing his feet in the sink, if that ain't bad enough when he was through he just walked out, his sink and counter around it was trashed. Come on drivers show a little bit of pride when you stop somewhere. If you get coffee or sugar all over when your preparing it, grab a napkin when your done and wipe it up, flush the toilet when you are done, and for god sakes wash your hands.

Well, the pilot I called about, stunk worse than an outhouse.

There was no soap in the sinks, nor any paper towels.

I had cleaning supplies out in the truck.

There was Ice all over the place.

I commented on the ice and the clerk said it was not her problem. They were only truck drivers.

Lol. I went to the Lodi OH Pilot (x204, not 209) to get a drink and their ice machine and fountain drink area was out of service. They said to go over to Wendy's if I just needed ice so I went over to Wendy's and said the people at the C-store said I could come over here for a cup of ice. The Wendy's manager about flipped a lid and rushed over to the C-store to find out what was going on.

Apparently they didn't let the manager know that since their ice machine and fountain drinks were down, they might have an influx of customers just wanting ice or a soda.

    Way to communicate.....

Funny, since they all have phones, and most use radios with whisper mikes and earpieces... how dumb do you need to be not to communicate?

I really love pilot's quality soap in the shower. I normally bring my own but I ran out last week and tried to use the bar they supply. It does not lather and it feels like a pumice stone. Who declared that bar of soap quality because I gaurentee the employees wouldn't even steal that crap.

And since Pilot bought out the Flying J's they are just as bad I go out of my way to find a Petro or Bosselman then T/A. Pilot and J are last resorts for me even though the boss wants me to fuel @ Pilot because he gets a bigger discount.

Maybe it is because most of the fast food operations lease the premise from the pilot and are not part of their operation.

God forbid someone could WALK 50 feet and say "hey, our ice and soda machine are down, we'll have to send folks over here".
