    Go to DAT (I assume you have a subscription) and research the highest paying loads in your area and back into your area... Then, once you find some cities that consistantly provide high rates, determine volume. You can create a ratio to compare each lane.

    From what I have seen in OK it is not that good. But since you do not go home much I guess that is not a big deal for you. I hate going out more than two weeks so I can not help you on running that long.

    When I first started I found a couple places I could get decent money to and then would watch the boards and see if it was a decent market or random good loads. If it worked out after a few trips I would try and get those loads. If it did not I would try a different area and do the samething. Once you find a few decent spots and build up a little bit try some new lanes until you are happy.
