there are pretty much three trucks on the road....
Cummins, Detroit and Cat. Those are the biggies. There are some others like Volvo and Mercedes, but those are the big market holders.
Transmissions, you have your Eaton fuller and Rockwells
Same as the rear ends.
All the rest of it is eye candy....
That's how I have always looked at trucks.
Geared correctly, you can pull anything and spec your fuel mileage almost. Your big variable is gonna be the nut holding the steering wheel then.
It's nice to see that ergonomics are starting to come into play more in the driver controls. Been a long time coming and will be interesting to see how this Cascadia I am supposed to be driving feels.
My personal preference for eye candy is the T600.
