Most Smokers Quit Cold Turkey

Cold Turkey??

Every time I try that I risk mental breakdown that could land me somewhere un-fun,......

Someday I'll get my mind wrapped around the idea to quit,...But until I'm ready it will not happen,..

 

How do you get the nicotine out if you don't burn the bird?

Seriously the reason most quit cold turkey is just due to determination. If you need a substance/crutch to help you quit, then you haven't made up your mind you truly want to yet.

 

My mother always said the same thing.

She finally quit.

2 months before the cancer killed her.

 

I quit cold turkey ..... the same day I found out I had cancer (lymphoma), 10 years ago this past January. Haven't wanted a "smoke" since.

 

I quit cold-turkey in 1993 and haven't touched one since. There are times though that I feel like I could burn one... Like tonite,Carolina playin dook...
