Looks like you have it all covered.

I dont hate on anyones dreams. In fact you may have the tenacity to actually succeed. So dont take anything personally and let anything I say get in the way of your dreams.

Just try to be realistic and understand the economics and logistical side of trucking before you actually buy anything.

I preach this same schpeal over and over. I dont know if it gets through to anyone.. but my wife's family is in the restaraunt business. Trucking is much the same in that choosing the right location.. then you need to know what kind of food the local population wants, build a menue, then you need to know how much to sell your menu to turn a profit. You need to comply with local and state inspectors. Trucking is much the same. Simply buying a truck creates an immedaite deficit. You need to have a business first.. that means customers who are willing to pay you to haul their loads. Then you buy the truck and trailer that best fits your needs. Dont put the cart before the horse.

Those are going to be some bad family dinners when you can't pay them back because you want a hobby. No interest loans are great but involving family is not. I will say it again, you are not ready to own a truck. YOU need money not borrowing it. You are going to spend in the neighborhood of 250-300k for the truck and trailer you are talking about.

Mkay,.. let me know how that works out for you.

You'll find the WS 5700 is a bit more pricey than the used Freightliners you're asking about in another post.

Last I heard Obama was giving out free money. Better hurry before his term ends, else more and more states may make you work for it.

Save your breath. All I see are wolf tickets and hot air in any of his posts.

Call it like I see it.
