    Hey all,

I'm a newbie MC, trying to get rolling with the Motive ELD - cable 3043 for my 2020 Cascadia 126 - the manual speaks of taking out about 40 screws and removing the top of the dash to access the J1939 250K TEM splice pack (green and yellow wires) in the mid-dash area. I removed the passenger fuse cover, and peered in the opening to the left, and saw a bunch of splice packs, but not the 1939 I think.

So I need help locating that splice pack.

Also, a friend who has a 2021 says the 9 pin diagnostic port cable works well - but Motive doesn't recommend using it, as they say it can cause electrical issues and void warranty.

I need to get rolling asap, so not sure how to proceed - also trying to save $600 by taking it to a shop for this install.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    thanks!
