    Looking to become an O/O..
Was wondering what kind of expectations I should expect when running under someone else's MC#..
    Pay split?
    Insurance?
    Toll fees?
    Fuel?
    Any maintenance support?
    Dispatcher expectations?
Thank you in advance gear jammers

Whomever you sign on with , you'll be whats called leased . ( they are renting you and your truck in exchange for work for you to do and the permits and ins coverage provided by them ) .
You negoiate all the above with them.
Some are really good , some are not .
A true owner operator has his own permits , MC authority , and his own equipment .

Call me an idiot if this question is dumb. But I'll ask it anyway. If/can a true O/O allow another truck owner to operate under them. Is this the same thing as described above?

Yes . Just work out a contract ( written , not verbal ) with pay , and who is responsible for what , and an who does what ( ins , repairs , etc etc) . Also , make sure to have a exit clause so that if you / they can leave . ( if you or they have to many issues such as violations , taxs , retirement , you need such a clause.
