Dealers are sales people. They'll tell you whatever to get you to sign. I never believe a dealer with any vehicle until I confirm with mine own eyes. -
I don't think a oil change would have saved him. #### happens. I'm curious if it failed a cam first and then debris took out the rod bearings.

Yes I believed them since all the filters were new. As far as timeline, I dont know. They are still tearing it down and pulling the motor on Monday probably. Once done, they have to get a comprehensive repair sent to P2k and then we have to talk to an adjuster and see what they pay.
