While they are not really supposed to do it. I have seen many drivers while fueling wash off their catwalks, bikes and wash off the APU AC condensers etc. You fuel most times at least every other day. It seems to me to be when you can get the mud off one.

Kind of like a rumble seat... in more ways than one.

There’s no easy way around keeping a bike outside unless you cover it up. Water will mess up a bike if you don’t dry it afterwards. Bottomline is to keep it inside the truck even if you have to take the wheels off.

I brought that up once while at a lunch counter. The guy said his bike was made out of a no-rust metal and he kept his seat covered. Then he went on to say that it still gets wet when it rains. If I remember right he said that he rode it a lot and just gave the sprockets and chain a bit of DW-40 and they were OK.PE_T Thanks this.

For years old school P&D outfits ran around with two wheelers mounted in front of the grill. A lot of beverage haulers used to as well

His bike probably wasn’t cheap.

It was not. I can't remember what he said he paid for it. I just know that he was a biker and said he loved to ride during his breaks. However, as he said, and I agree. You mount a bike outside it's going to get wet.PE_T Thanks this.
