I don't know about an 84", but I've gotten some 42" inchers in there...

Give me enough time, a lot of Ram parts, and a welder I could probably figure it out though... lol

I made a harness w/ adjustable straps that fits on the closet door of any truck, but my TV is only 24". You guys with anything bigger must A) be gamers B) need glasses, or C) like your porn up close and personal...

Obviously the key to any TV over say 24 inches is the weight.

We do it with steel support plates and a series of Ram Mount parts. Since every truck is different, it depends on what space and surfaces we have to work with. And then that determines the best way to do it.

But here are some methods anyway.

Hanging it from an upper bunk uses two steel or aluminum plates. One on top and one under the bunk. This method works if they don't need to raise the top bunk. It also requires 2 or three support arms to keep it from shaking to death.

OR, the same method coming up from the bottom bunk for those that don't need to raise the bottom bunk:

    tv_bottombunk.jpg

Or one on the bottom and another smaller on on the top shelf for team drivers (in the rare cases where both are on break.)

    tv_dual.jpg

Or the same plate plus Ram supports for a flip-down smaller TV in the closet.

    tv_install_flipdown.jpg

Or a larger TV that folds back when traveling and folds out for watching (this guy was a gamer enthusiast with a bottom bunk that turned into a sofa couch)

    tv_foldaway.jpg

I even saw a post on here once where a guy came up with straps that hung it from the ceiling. I haven't tried that one yet, but we haven't had call for it either.

It all depends on the truck with any TV for which kit works the best. But there are some ways anyway.
