Mounting CB in new Volvo's

    I just tossed my Cobra up in the CB 'cubby hole' in my New Volvo. 2012 I believe. First Job, First Truck, First CB LOL. I noticed it has a bracket already in there but it's on springs and can't get it to keep pressure on the CB so that it won't bounce out and smoke me in the head. Anyone know what to do with that thing? not much room to get your hands in there to feel around.

    There ought to be a bungy cord kinda strap in there too to hold it down, was on my '07 but may have changed.

    I didn't drive a volvo,but I always used the bungee,plus a small piece of velcro on the bottom of the radio,stuck to the bottom opening of the "cubby" and that worked pretty good.
