Id say you need to have a wrecker or someone with a fifth wheel hitch. Putting one on a lowboy even without wheels would be pretty tall still id think.

yeah,i was thinking the same. 13-4 is probably a little higher than they are,but within 2 inches, which is still tall. probably more money to move very far than its worth.

Looking at the pictures, there's very little height to be won by removing the tires.
The fueltank only has a small clearance to the ground.
Now if you remove the tank(s)........then take off the wheels.........you are good to go with a lowboy.

Im with the wrecker idea, not the cheapest option. If it drives and is road worthy, id send a class B drive away guy..

lol,i've done it before. with cars. a little easier to deal with when they break. but hey, what's life without adventure.

been kinda looking for a project truck. kind of a gear head. thats the bigger reason i drive truck, rather than love for the road. i like the machines.

i may just hold out and get what i really want,a double bunk FL Powerliner,or double bunk CL9000. both hard to find, especially the powerliner.

    would love a powerliner to build.about 250" wheelbase,late model air ride,13/18 speed and a 12 or 14 liter 60 series.

many thanks for the inputs thus far tho, guys.

Cost me $1200 to have a wrecker drive 200 kilometers, pick up my truck and drive 200 kilometers back with it. About $3/km.

yeah,i know that would be cost prohibitive. there is a FL condo cabover for sale up here, its older ('88 i think),has a B model in it,and the old crap air ride.
