Seriously, the hatchet man is gone? Only took 2k+ drivers to leave first. I told them during my exit interview the new policies enacted by him was a contributing factor to me leaving

I'm pretty sure that everybody is hurting for drivers. The oilfield is booming, and that naturally draws quite a few drivers away from traditional trucking jobs looking for that big $$$. And from my extremely limited time with Walmart and my personal experiences, companies like Walmart, UPS, FedEx, and the LTL's aren't just going to hire anybody. So that leads to the perception that they are hurting more than your average company.

We are hiring drivers right out of school at my terminal we are hurting so bad. Starting pay is keeping experienced guys away. Takes 4 years to get to top pay and guys don't want to wait that long.

Do you blame them? They want the cream of the crop but don’t want to pay the cream of the crop wages??? I don’t get it... but; I am happy where I am.. so; that might get a lot to give it a try....

We have guys that make 120k+ with great benefits and a pension, if that's not cream of the crop I don't know what is.
