when I was out there it got up to 108 at one point. With FR crap on, and no shade I was only good for about 10 minutes out of the truck - and it gets cold there too.

I know Midland is oil country and desert but where I'm at in CT is freezing and miserable. I've wanted to get outta the North for years. Trust me Texas is gonna be a dream come true

No worries, drivers Mecca. Stevens does a lot of frac-sand don't know about there pay, but lots of driving jobs in Texas, Hope you like BBQ Ribs.

From freezing to tornado country, dam son thats right in the middle of tornado ally. gets a little cool in the winter but not like CT.

Parts of west tx are really nice. Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains National parks are very beautiful.

Texas is my absolutely favorite place to run. wide open spaces to coin a phrase. and the best bbq in the country.

Parked on the side ot the road just outside of junction, heading south to Laredo, early in the mornong someone was knocking on my door, though maybe I accidently blocked a drive, but now one of the locals wanted to know if I wanted to go fishing , Had a really great day on the lake and still delivered 250 miles away on time, but much happier... Love Texas
