Its about 50mi from where I live, there isnt much there. You'll have to go to Junction for most everything and Kerrville or Uvalde for places like Walmart, HEB, ect. If you want to move to the hill country be ready to drive to go everywhere. I just parked my truck and had my wife meet me so we could run to HEB in Kerrville. Its 35mi each way.
Where I live it's pretty dense population wise and I've always wanted to live out in the country where it's nice and quiet and nobody has a large amount of access to me.seems peaceful
Thats how Ive lived most of my life. IL, Az, and Tx. We're thinking about moving N to Abilene. Too many people moving to the big cities and it bleeds off to the surrounding areas. Abilene is more isolated, but has everything we need. I can buy 20-30 acres around there for what 5 would cost me here outside of San Antonio

#### 30 acres may be to much unless I want to break it down into lots. I saw how much an 1.5 acres is 30 acres I'd be to isolate lmao. But 5 acres wouldn't be bad. And I deff don't plan on staying in Midland it's just a jumping off point for me
Appreciate the offer, but I settled on Las Vegas/Henderson. I like areas like that though and also a fan of Del Rio, TX. I do love Texas though; must admit that.
Well this is whole area is a big travel destination for people. You ever end up visiting, let me know.
