MPG issues at Con-Way

If you are bought to Joplin and its 2+ warnings,I would stop by house on the way there,just sayin

Ive been here 10 years,and I dont suffer never had a fuel warning,IDK your truck must have a APU???

 

Yea I'm not getting this. No APU on truck? Low out of route mileage? But getting warnings? Something is wrong with the picture

 

What have you been pulling weight wise and where have you been pulling it? If it isn't an issue with heavy haul in mountain terrain I would suggest calling road service and maybe getting to Joplin for them to check out the truck, especially if it is burning coolant.

 

Tighten your hoses as far as coolant goes. Usually the 2 blue ones on passenger side are the issue. As for fuel Ive got nothing. I sit more then I drive and won't be uncomfortable reguardless of a companies policy BUT run about -2% OOR and always hover around 6.5 mpg. I sat from Friday at noon to Sunday at 1500 then Monday from 0900 to Tuesday at 0530 wednesday and 10 hrs last night. Already told dispatch if I get a call on MPG they will be dealing with it since out of 5 days I sat 80+ hrs and currently sittin again goin on 2 hrs. MPG would be better if I had the "M"'s to run if not i look at it like this. they waste my time and its hot then I burn their fuel, i refuse to let myself be the only one losing money on the deal. BUT im stuk qhere i cant idle at a customer right now.

Yeah if your not getting temp fluctuations at night then hoses wouldn't be an issue that leaves one other thing to try. Pray for a new truck.
