Mrs SP, I never got to meet SP personally but I've known folks like him over the years. They are the Salt of The Earth and anyone who meets them is the better for it. You haven't lost him, you never will. I have this picture of him in my mind.... up there, hands on hips, asking some angel "Now where'd you learn to fly son?".

You can be sure he'll be waiting for you with open arms when it's your turn. Makes me smile just to think of it.

glad to see you came out of the wood work.... been rolling strong, you know the routine...drive alot fix alot lol..but the truck is comeing along.....hope to see you out on the big road dino

so nice to hear from you and I do too also hope you keep posting on here!! SP was one of kind and they broke the mold with him-his posts were so great to read and I learned alot from him.

 

Right on, Dino! Glad to hear you're doing well and that pete is making ya money. I'm in Montana this week....I ALMOST had to break the map out to get here.....(grin)

They still make a map for MT (not to be confused with MasterTech the MT).

First of all--let me PLEASE offer mine and my families belated condolences--things here have not been the best--and I haven't really kept up
I have followed Dinos' comments thru much of this--and then read many of SP older posts(since I am relatively new to this board)as i read all this I can't help but think that I must have know SP--or at least met him--somewhere--somehow--especially since I am a 3d generation driver originally from Central Florida--and both y'all use Orlando--as S/N locations(and anymore that cover a wide area)--but as I read this post--I see him being referred to as JR--so I must ask--and understand if you do not want to answer(at least not publically)did he have a white flat top 359 back in the early to mid 80's did he ride--and possibly have some good friends out in Union Park in those days?
Please forgive the intrusion--but I cannot help but ask--if he(both of you actually)is who I am thinking of? Either way once again PLEASE accept our sincerest sympathies(although a little late)
