So the truck boss lied I’ve hauled 3 loads of lime this evening. Bout a 14 mile turn outta Midwest at Batesville. I’m have to get my ol Mate fixed up this weekend if I’m gonna pull it with my flat top

 

No they are the standard short. Lots of guys build shops with old truss’s but they put a 5 ft or so piece in the ground to put them on. Sometimes metal sometimes wood depending on red neck engineer that’s involved

 

The Dodge pick up guy come wasted his time here today. He is convinced I need a new pickup. Firstly due to financial embarrassments beyond my control he is mistaken and 2nd that #### looks like a heart ache. Me and my 2 ol Chevrolet’s will just keep on keeping on

 

those two old Chevys probably still have a better interior than the average new Ram. although the longhorns are pretty nice. Dad had one Ram, he bought it at two years old, that interior fell apart by looking at it. As did the transmission and transfer case. Not gonna lie, though, if I was ordering a brand new vehicle based on looks alone, RAM is currently at the top of the pile IMO

This thing had Warlock on the bedside which honestly made it sound like something a homo would drive. I also understand that back in the day the warlock was a variant of the lil red expression. All of them cool trucks alright just named after homo’s. It was cloth interior too which for a guy in the poop business is less than ideal I think. Vinyl or leather is where I needed to be. Besides I got the 1 ton Ford that’s got vinyl and only 77k miles even if it’s a gasser 12 model. Idk where the guy got the lead I was in heat for a pickup…..I did soak a free lunch out of him though
