Well, floating crap games in motel rooms, why not a bar?
Gives meaning to the phrase. "Stay here, there is a bar next door...."

Ran to pick up my new to me “backup” truck this evening. It has serious frame issues. Was some creative photography before it sold. Why I am always uneasy about buying site unseen. Man received the news very poorly. Called me some things I prefer not to be called, and told me if I had just taken it home and called him back, he would just have told me I’m FOS.

Like dude, it’s as obvious as the nose on your face! He started sweating bullets as soon as I pointed it out. I had talked to him about it before I bought it, to make sure it was “decent.” Wouldn’t accept the fact I knew what I was talking about until we checked all the other Pete frames on the lot. He was trying to convince me those patches were OEM . They were different lengths and everything. I may have been born in the night, but it wasn’t last night
. Oh, and all matching drive tires. Nope, 2 kinds. It was on auction, so I already had it paid for it. He said he will let me know Monday if it gets new rails, or I get a refund.
I knew it was a 20 year old truck, but wow. My ‘89 had a better frame than this. You can see the sag on this picture

Very. Very rough. Looked decent on the pictures. When I called him for details preauction, I specifically asked if the frame had been repainted, Nope!
Rest of the truck is very nice runs good, but it flat out needs new rails. Any idea what a rounded figure for a set would be? Gonna push hard for a total refund

Grab your ### Fred. To put new rails under it from PG Adams or similar is gonna be above 10k just for the rails. Last one I done I landed at 8500 on Labor. Guy is a really good friend so I cut him a break.1951 ford, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Oldman83 and 14 others Thank this.
