Well, I didn’t know I was a freightliner fan, but the way it’s looking around here I perhaps should stop denying reality! IMG_0820.jpeg IMG_0832.jpeg IMG_0833.jpeg

When I mentioned soaping down the compressor discharge line, especially if it was braided/Stratoflex line, I had in mind while the truck was running, but I don’t know that I said that.
My first truck (2002 Western Star, N-14) had the exact same problem that you have been fighting, and it was the compressor discharge line leaking while the compressor was pumping.

The compressor line is copper back to behind the engine, then about a 2 1/2’ braided on to the dryer. Don’t know why I was having such a brain fart moment….

When a man has as much information in his head as you do, it can be hard to re-call some of it.

It needs painted, and Cali hookups are on the agenda.
I got to go trucking tomorrow, so the final thrash is on.

I’ve been told many moons ago, that combination(copper for heat, braided for vibration), but what do I know. I’m just a “wannabe” steering wheel holder.:D:rolleyes:
