Mine had just over 424,000 when I sold it… those engines were incredible

 

I will never, ever get rid of my 12 valve engine.

I love that old truck but she's falling apart around the motor, and it's getting harder and harder to find parts. But the engine is still running well and I've got less than a year on a transmission rebuild.

So eventually the engine and maybe the transmission will go into my squarebody Chevy project truck, and I'll sell the Dodge as a roller.

 

Dodge or any oem really doesn’t support vehicles over 20 years old. I have an 02 Durango that needs a couple interior pieces. Short of a junkyard you can’t find them

 

Most recently, a flywheel cover and a front seat assembly - because my seatbelt kept locking up and you can't buy seatbelt parts by themselves. I gave up trying to find a new dash bezel.

 

We’ve graduated up to Buffalo Trace since @Oxbow came over to a BBQ — when that’s gone, it’ll be back to VO and ditch water so Crown will be most welcome

 

Really .. I just sent @Oxbow a case of black lable Crown told him to share a bottle with ya ..

You did uh — huh— we ain’t seen each other for close to a month so he’s probably just been busy— I was gonna treat him to some of that Ribeye in the Sky that’s been in the freezer for a couple years, but the other half went to Costco and got some Tri-Tip
