Mucury sleeper

Didn't some of the mercury sleepers have the round windows on the sides.

Dad had a 30" maybe behind the shop for years. Had a plywood floor those round windows. Me and my brother loaded for the guy that bought it. It didn't weigh hardly anything. I'm not sure it was a mercury or not.

 

I know some of the old double eagles had round and tear drop windows.

 

I always liked the look of the teardrop windows.

That Pirkle Mack looks great! Future truck acquisition goals right there... either an R model or Superliner.

 

Pretty sure double eagles. Those and teardrops were popular during very early '80's. Big trucks as well as vans.

 

That's an Able Body Co sleeper on the RD Mack, not a Mercury.

 

I thought Double Eagle went out of business some time back.
