Mucus overstayed it's welcome

My wife the nurse swears by vitamin C's

 

Only mucinex (or generic) will get that out.

 

The only problem with Mucinex is the last time I tried it, it made me cough up blood. I hurt myself caughing so violently. That stuff is a little too powerfull for me.

 

Our body's will not retain Vitaman C .. eat as mush as you want.. it can't hurt you but its more of a preventative though it will help. multi vitamins .. the above mentions.. see a doctor

 

Try PLAIN Mucinex, don't use the Mucinex with the cough suppressant, as it will make you cough like Criminey Jade wrote above, just wretching all day.

AND stop all dairy products until the sickness passes, as anything with milk or cream in it, will make more mucus. Hot steamy showers help too.

My Dad always said to roll in bed with honey!!! LOL

 

Honey is about $8.00 a bottle.. unless you need a 5 gallon bucket worth

Perhaps the Honey he is talking about, is NOT the kind you get from bees?

 

SinuFix (mentioned in earlier post) has flat changed my stuffiness.

It's a supplement, not a drug, but works wonders.
