Mud flap fix legality.

    I was watching a video a few days ago about some quickly removable mud flaps intended for dump trucks. I’d try to raise them up somehow (or roll them up) and then back up.

    always got out and hung them up, same with dumping a trailer

    With the hook of a bungee cord through the bottom of the flap?

    Either that or a hole in the flap and a hook up at the top bracket

    I got a violation while sleeping on rest are once for a blended hanger and the reflective tape half fall off

    Best way to stop mudflaps from getting ripped off from curb, is find a curb and cut mudflap to just above the height of the curb. Or buy ones that are not as long

    These past few years new dry van and reefer trailers started coming with a spring on the mud flaps so you cannot tear them off anymore while bumping it on a curb backing up. This, however, won’t help dump truckers as they apparently roll over it big time.
