Those bolts look a little thin. I will have to check tomorrow. What would the flatbar be needed for? Can't I just slip the mudflaps in between there and bolt them in?

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

How about a pic of what you took off ?
If it’s made the way that I’m thinking, you just dismantled the whole hanger instead of removing the two nuts.

You can see the bar behind the black bracket with the studs attached. The whole hanger is spring loaded so if you unbolt it from the frame without something there to hold it the spring will yank it straight into the hanger. Then its junk.

The ones I took off were similar to this, albeit with all the lights and crap.

Just about anywhere I'd imagine. Used to get them from the dealer but I see you can buy them on Amazon for about $150 but they'll probably be cheap chrome and not stainless.

    I like the angled ones.

I'll get on that tomorrow. I can't use the angled ones because my mud flaps are straight. Do they sell these at Love's you think? I have about $70 in points that expire in about 6 days, so I need to spend it.

Edit: Yeah, Love's sells them. I hope they have decent ones. I'll drive on up there tomorrow.

Loves with a shop may have them in black.
Most any dealer will have them.
